UNINT’s Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering for Immersive Technologies and Artificial Intelligence is now accredited
The Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering for Immersive Technologies and Artificial Intelligence (LM-32) at Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma (UNINT) has officially received accreditation, marking an important milestone for advanced education in immersive and secure digital technologies.
The programme prepares highly qualified professionals to design, develop, and manage complex digital systems that integrate artificial intelligence, immersive technologies, advanced interfaces, and next-generation human-machine interaction.
A key feature of the programme is the Immersive and Secure Technologies specialization track, developed within the framework of the European Virtual Innovation Consortium (VIC) project. The VIC initiative has been awarded the European Commission’s STEP (Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform) quality seal, recognising its contribution to Europe’s strategic technological priorities.
This specialization addresses the growing demand for expertise in cybersecurity for immersive environments, including metaverse security, cyber risk management, and the protection of data, systems, and users across emerging digital ecosystems.
The curriculum combines advanced knowledge in Extended Reality (XR) and artificial intelligence with specialised training in information security, cyber-intelligence, and digital infrastructure protection. Its interdisciplinary approach is further strengthened by courses in international law, ethics, technology regulation, cybercrime prevention, and risk management.
The programme is structured over two years, offers open admission subject to entry requirement verification, and is available both on campus and through live online attendance via the UNINT Everywhere platform.
In addition, a dedicated study pathway within UNINT’s Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, International Security, and Crime (L-36) enables students to acquire the prerequisites needed for admission to this innovative Master’s programme, creating a clear educational pathway toward careers in immersive technologies, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
